Our wealth management process is based on the premise that it’s all about you. We are committed to providing independent advice and administrative efficiency.
We have always prided ourselves on our commitment to customer service, embedding the Financial Conduct Authority’s “Treating Customers Fairly” principle firmly within our culture.
Exploration and Discovery
With Chartham, a client relationship is not entered into lightly and is the basis for a long-term partnership. At your first meeting you will help us understand where you are now and your future financial aspirations. Equally, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Chartham Financial Planning and how we may be able to help you. Essentially, you will determine if we are the right advisers for you.
Analysis
If you feel you can benefit from our services, we usually formalise our relationship at this stage, providing you with our Client Agreement (Terms of Business). This details the cost of our advice and the services we can offer you.
Once your objectives and financial goals have been agreed, we will undertake a detailed analysis of your existing arrangements, contacting the appropriate providers to obtain all the necessary information.
Presentation
Following our meeting, we will prepare a personal Financial Planning Report to provide a clear picture of your current position, and outline a specific and realistic recommendation designed to achieve your stated objectives.
Implementation
Once you have decided you are happy to proceed, you can relax in the knowledge that we will take care of the necessary steps. We will organise the relevant documentation to implement your financial plan.
On-going relationship
We believe that a long-term relationship is important when it comes to your financial affairs. Therefore, our preference is to review your financial arrangements on a regular basis to ensure that they continue to meet your objectives. An on-going relationship enables us to take account of any changes in your personal circumstances, financial market conditions and relevant legislation.
